Hello Math experts ! I am a starting at practice using calculator worksheet. I seem to understand the lectures in the class properly , but when I start to solve the questions at home myself, I commit mistakes. Does anyone know of any resource where I can get my answers checked before submitting them for grading? Or any resource where I can get to see a step by step solution?

What exactly don't you understand about practice using calculator worksheet? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Algebra 1, so I might be able to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should get Algebrator, that's what I did in my Basic Math, and I have to say it's the greatest ! It's less expensive than a private teacher and you can use it anytime you want . It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever used a similar program. I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

I too have had difficulties in linear inequalities, reducing fractions and triangle similarity. I was advised that there are a number of programs that I could try out. I tried out many but then the finest that I found was Algebrator. Merely keyed in the problem and clicked the ‘solve’. I got the response immediately . In addition, I was guided through to the answer by an effortlessly comprehensible step-by-step process . I have relied on this program for my difficulties with Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Algebra 1. If I were you, I would undoubtedly go for this Algebrator.
