I am going to college now. As math has always been my weakness, I purchased the course books in advance. I am plan on learning a handful of topics before the classes begin . I looked into a number of software programs before I zoomed in on Algebrator. This was the most suited for algebraic signs, least common measure and point-slope. It was effortless to key in the problem. Instead of simply giving the answer , it took me through all the steps clearing up all the way until it reached the solution. By the time, I reached the answer I learnt how to go about it on my own . I used the program for working out my problems in Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Intermediate algebra in math. I remember having difficulties with algebraic signs, graphing lines and y-intercept. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
